When a person has done something for so long it is indeed like riding a bike. All things are in their place. A customer calls, a date and time are set, it is written in stone, and the initial bond is made between homeowner, builder, general manager, landlord, and myself: the painter. Suggestions are made, discussion of colors take place, square footage is determined by plans or a laser. Each room and it's ultimate destiny are discussed. Drywall conditions are briefly noted, and a very quick estimate is determined by brand of paint and finish, ( flat, eggshell, semi-gloss, satin, high gloss, stain, solid, semi-transparent, or clear). All finishes are explained if needed and I guarantee a price math with any written competitor.
As a female contractor, I bid to get the job, do it better than, (JUST RIGHT), and I always include. a free cleaning service to finalize my work of art. I want visitors to arrive and say, "WOW", not ,"OHHH MY".
